Evaporative Cooling in the Dairy Product Industry: A Solution that’s Economical and Ecological

From early Spring, excessive heat in a production workshop inevitably creates poor working conditions, with many consequences such as loss of productivity, loss of quality, absenteeism, increase in breaks, deterioration in the working environment, etc.
The economic and ecological solution proposed by Delta NEU, without impact on the ozone layer, makes it possible, thanks to a natural process which consumes less than a quarter of the energy of traditional air conditioning, improves working conditions, brings 100% new and cooled fresh air and maintains a pleasant humidity level.

Principle
Evaporative cooling introduces externally filtered and cooled fresh air. Cooling by evaporation is a principle which has been used for centuries and is inspired by the feeling of freshness felt when close to vast stretches of water or fountains during hot periods. Hot air passing through a medium kept constantly moist, will cause evaporation of the water, and thus cooling of the air by energy exchange. This principle helps to avoid the falling of droplets and evaporative cooling a reliable technique, which is economical and easy to install.

A Solution Suited for Dairy Products Industry
Its ECONOCLIM range makes it possible to reintroduce 4000 m3/h to 40 000 m3/h of air per unit and is available in a wall, floor and roof version. In certain cases, in order to improve efficiency, the installation of evaporative cooling must be complemented by hot air extraction solutions.
