Dry, filled or coated, biscuit production requires precision, quality manufacturing processes. The know-how of NEU Process in these types of food industries extends from the delivery of materials to in-feeding of the kneader
NEU Process benefits from a great experience in this activity: flour, sugar… NEU Process has worked for major industries in this field.
Pneumatic conveying in dilute phase (suction or blowing system) : NEU Process sizes this type of installation where product capacity are very high
All our installations are managed with NEUBATCH, an advanced process control technology to guarantee the right recipe, the batch preparation and the traceability.
For producing the cream of the sandwich biscuit PRINCE type it is necessary to grind crystal sugar to make ice sugar. The final particle size must be precise and regular. Sugar in the food industry is one of the most difficult products to handle. It is explosive, hydroscopic and must be weighed with high accuracy. The design of such a grinding and conveying sugar installation requests experience and specific know-how as regards explosion risks and in accordance with the ATEX regulations.
The crystal sugar is pneumatically conveyed from storage silos to grinding towers in dilute phase (through a rotary valve) under pressure, open loop. The line is equipped with a vibrating sieve. Without any mechanical part in movement, this equipment limits explosion risks and guarantees efficient sieving of the product. With NEUBATCH, the grinding process is fed at a regulated flow rate. This system is flexible and allows the operator to control sugar final particle size.
NEU Process is a specialist in the transport of powders for the biscuit production industry (metering, weighing, mixing, etc.)
Consumers choose biscuits because they enjoy them and because of their extensive variety, their taste, quality or the simplicity of their recipe.
Hygiene, safety and traceability are essential elements in the biscuit production industry.
Mastery of the different stages:
The know-how of NEU Process in these types of food industries extends from the delivery of materials to in-feeding of the kneader:
- Reception of raw materials in bulk (for example, in flour storage silos), sacks and big bags
- Pneumatic transport in dilute phase essentially (by discharge or by vacuum extraction system) towards the milling station. Tonnages are significant and at this stage it is not relevant to respect the physical nature of the products.
- Storage and transfer to the kneader.
NEUBATCH monitoring manages the recipes all along the line: metering system management (by pneumatic transport, weight-based or volumetric metering), batch preparation, traceability with batch genealogy, etc. Each pneumatic pump or valve is regulated by the NEUBATCH system.
