The renewal of two prestigious industry accreditations reaffirms DELTA NEU’s continued commitment to achieving the highest standards in health and safety for our customers.

We have retained our annual accreditation from Safecontractor, a key Health and Safety award recognised by customers across all industry sectors. We have also retained our fourth successive ‘Altius Assured’ annual health and safety accreditation.

DELTA NEU Managing Director Peter Dowell says: “We are dedicated to achieving excellence in health and safety management when working on site at customer facilities. Our aim is to surpass customer expectations and lead the way in our industry through our overriding commitment to safe working practices.”

The accreditations demonstrate that DELTA NEU engineers adhere to safe working practices when undertaking installation and service projects on site at customer facilities. Both awards follow in-depth annual assessments, which recognise the high standard of health and safety management we continue to achieve through comprehensive training.

In addition, our UK Managing Director Peter Dowell and Company Secretary Michaela Duffy have completed the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health’s (IOSH) ‘Managing safely’ course. The IOSH course provides managers with the knowledge needed to handle health and safety issues at work.

The Altius Assured Vendor accreditation recognises excellence in business performance.

The accreditation is awarded following a rigorous independent assessment process. A business must demonstrate to the scheme’s expert assessors that it is a top supplier.

The accreditation provides assurance that a business has all the necessary health and safety systems, financial strength, insurance coverage and other requirements in place to be a competent supplier to large corporate customers.

Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

Under the Safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.

Many major clients in the food manufacturing industry recognise the scheme and accept the Safecontractor certificate as confirmation of competency.
